The Caspar David Friedrich Centre is a listed building. It has a step-free access only to the ground floor.

120 minutes by bicycle. (Guided cycle tour along the Ryck river to the Eldena monastery ruins and the fishing village of Wieck, followed by a stop for refreshments, return journey by individual bicycle necessary, catering not included).

Booked guided tour on the picture trail “Große Runde”

180 minutes by bike. (Guided cycle tour along the entire Caspar-David-Friedrich-Bildweg, followed by a stop for refreshments, return journey individual, bicycle required, catering not included).

The  Caspar David Friedrich Centre is located in the old town of Greifswald next to St Nicholas's Cathedral in the former home and business premises of the Friedrich family, now under a preservation order. Visitors enter the building from the Lange Straße no. 57, which is Greifswald’s main shopping street and now a pedestrianized zone.
